1. Feature requests for Helsinki Release

• Desired outcome: Discuss and decide on pending feature request that need attention
• See TWikiFeatureProposals#ProposalsReadyForReleaseMeeting

• Proposals where 14-day rule applies:
  • AddLoggingHandler - parked until owner is found
  • AddSkinDirToTemplatePath - parked until owner is found; look at bigger picture to SimplifySkinCreation
  • DontExposeTWikiRootAsHtmlDocRoot - accepted by consensus, will be acepted 14 day rule in 3 days
  • GeneralSortingMechanism - Sopan to comment; parked until owner is found
  • UseIsoDatesByDefault - accepted by 14 day rule
• Proposals with concern raised:
  • DatabaseStore - deemed important, but no owner at this time, thus parked
  • AllowSectionalEditingAtTwikiDotOrg - important to have solid sectional editing solution with WYSIWYG support not just for twiki.org, but for TWiki distribution; parked until owner found
• Feature Proposals under Investigation:
  • PreferencesForRawEditOrWysiwygEdit - consensus that it should be a preferences setting, defined at user level, web level, or site level. If set to wysiwyg, default edit is wysiwyg edit, with "Raw Edit" button as option; if text edit, default is TML editor, with "WYSIWYG Edit" button as option.
