But note that for a wiki simple WYSIWYG is not enough: a translation from HTML view to TML code would be needed.

I am still trying to get ingy to release some work he's done in WikiWyg to allow non-editable sections (ok actually mini-edit sections like I want for my ComponentEditor? )

If anyone sees Ingy in real life.... please ask him, again and again smile

TinyMCE has existing support for non-editable sections.

Spaw seems to have made a lot of progress in V2. It was praised on phpcms forum and seems to have interesting features, notably Opera support.

Yahoo's Rich Text Editor looks increasingly good. Supports Safari as well.
