TWiki Release 4.1.0-beta2

This beta release is made available for testing by the developer community and based on SVN MAIN branch revision 12100 (29 Nov 2006).

As this 2nd beta is released there are still approx 100 open known bugs. Especially the new configure needs to be tested with this beta so it gets tested outside the "pseudo-install" that most developers run. It is important that as many as possible install this beta and reports bugs in Bugs:WebHome.

This beta release is not recommended for production use.

For production use - it is recommended to download TWiki Release 4.0.5.

TWiki 4.1 is expected release end December depending on the stability.

Unfortunately this beta is also broken because of an error in the build script. See Bugs:Item3216.

At least it proofs that it is worth doing these betas so we avoid these bugs in the real release. Expect a beta3 soon when Bugs:Item3216 is closed.
