Let's talk TWiki

• Do you love TWiki? Do you need to introduce the skeptics to people like you?
• Or, do you have a bugbear about it and want to talk over a problem?
• Can you talk more quickly than you can type?
• Maybe you just fancy discussing TWiki over a coke, or even a beer or two?

We (okay, mostly me but Andrea also) are thinking about setting up some TWiki User Groups.

Some Wiki magic would be useful here to allow better navigation of this data. I'm thinking of piping the data from a search of registered locations through the GNU coreutils' uniq. I'm sure some similar stuff can be done with FormattedSearches. I think we can probably do a nested search for this but it might be a little involved. Care to try it, Martin? I was having trouble with the US search page at first because there's too much data (over 2000 registered users).

I updated the user group topics so that they scan also the new homepage format properly.

I also cache the topics for 7 days so that they load faster. The US topic loads properly, but still takes a long time to load because it returns a table with over 11K rows.

This topic and the current TWikiUserGroupIn... topics are by now more a address list then something else. Rome cleary showed us how inspiring and helpfull face to face meetings are. so I've created TWikiMeetUps to help organzing them...
