Bug: Table rendering can lock up 'view' command

Table rendering code locks up or spews HTML if given normal-looking data.

Follow up

On my server, this causes 'view' to go into an infinite loop; here, it just spews HTML. If I remove '6|', it will spew HTML on my version.

Actually I'm using: Version: 30 Oct 2004 $Rev: 1794 $ Release type: Beta release
