Feature Proposal: A Twisty TOC would be Very Useful

Motivation

The TOC functionality is terrific, but a deep hierarchy of headers can make for a lot of TOC to scroll through . The alternative is to limit the depth, but that also limits information.

in TWiki 4, we have TWISTY. I think the combination would be formidable.

I'd love to be able to create a Twisty TOC, with hide/show arrows at each depth level.

Wow.

In the meantime one can always use TreeBrowserPlugin.

Other stuff I was thinking about TOC:

  • Add a root parameter to start the TOC from a certain heading. Allowing for subtoc.
  • Maybe add a startlevel, stoplevel like it was done in TreePlugin recently.
