Answer

I don't recall anyone doing this - you'll need to keep to the TWikiSystemRequirements as closely as possible, and running the various Unix tools and RCS is likely to create some challenges. See TWikiOn and feel free to create a TWikiOnNovellNetWare page as and when you make progress or find issues. Good luck!

I'm only a CNA, but I am very interested in InstallationOnNovellOS for a few reasons:
  • eDirectory authentication- wow, that could open up countless possibilities. And central user management.
  • Enterprise backups- with TWikiOnSuSE, and formerly TWikiOnRedHat, I've had a tar/ncftp/cron scheme.
  • I wouldn't be installing TWiki on hand-me-down servers!
  • TWiki's SEARCH capabilities could out-do ConSlowOne.

That said, I have in fact tried it on Netware 6. Several things were missing. 6.5 is more promising, and if I'm reading correctly, Novell is coming our way. That's why I wanted to use SuSE in the first place.

Might be useful to know what was missing - I've created TWikiOnNovellNetWare to log experiences.
