Question

(posted in InterwikiPluginDev on 9/19; perhaps that isn't well read)

I am confused. It seems that I can set up an Interwiki link like this

   Foo http://foo.corp.com/twiki/bin/view/
and Foo:MyWeb.TopicOne will work.

but I cannot set up something like this

   Foo http://foo.corp.com/twiki/bin/view/MyWeb/
(with or without the trailing slash) where I want Foo:TopicOne to work.

Am I doing something wrong or is Interwiki "just like this"?

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

We use linkes like Bugs:Item123, which I think is what you're asking for - see InterSiteLinkRules for the rules we have here.

Could you paste the exact raw link you are using in your InterWikis? topic?

I'm am afraid the above #2 line doesn't make any sense, it appears you are missing Foo in it + appears to lack the table formatting.

Sorry Steffen. Typo fixed.

I have an external TWiki site. I want to link forcibly into ONE of its webs with InterwikiPlugin? .

Here's an example with "real" data. Let's say I wanted to define

| Support | http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Support/ | a page in the twiki.org support web | |

so that I could get to this page with

[[Support:InterwikiWeirdness]]

Works for me? If you are using any kind of perl accellerator, make sure it's reloaded when you update definitions.

yeek! There' no way I can do that reload myself. That could be the issue; I have no server control at all.
