Question

I tried to add a search command in the WebLeftBar, so an automatically generated index is created (would be very convenient!). It is something like this:

  • Show a list of all topics starting with Documents so the WebLeftBar is updated automatically:

%SEARCH{ "Documents" topic="Documents*" web="Main" regex="on" scope="topic" nosearch="on" nototal="on" format=" * $topic" }%

However, it seems that due to some bug, TWiki crashes, i.e. I got an email from the computer helpdesk that a perl process of TWiki crashed and sucks away all CPU power.

Can you guys check it out?

Thx,

Roeland

Answer

That's a known problem, sorry Roeland. Do not add searches to the WebLeftBar. There is no fix at this time for the Cairo release, though the fix is in for DakarRelease.
