Question

My TWiki installation is now running pretty well. I've spent a lot of time working on TWiki.cfg, and think I finally have things right. However, the [More] link on every page always has a link to the OOPS page, rather than the standard tools.

The only thing I can think of is that it's because all my CGI code has to run from within CGIWRAP, until the webmaster "certifies" that TWiki won't crash the main system.

The link looks like this:

http://www.my_domain.com/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/~sstryker/twiki/bin/oops/Main/SegmentQueries?template=oopsmore&param1=1.9&param2=1.9

  • TWiki version: 01 Dec 2001
  • Web server:Apache/1.3.6 (Unix) mod_perl/1.20
  • Server OS: Unix (dec_osf)
  • Web browser: IE 6.0 SP1
  • Client OS: Win2000 SP3

Thanks,

Answer

The link you specify is correct. Click on More of this topic and you will see. It looks like the cgi wrapper does not pass the URL parameters to the script ( the part after the question mark, ?template=oopsmore&param1=1.9&param2=1.9)

Right. I'm getting the error: Internal Server Error.

Must be because I have to run w/in CGIWRAP. [sigh]

Sounds like your cgiwrap setup is broken, but for general help on using cgiwrap, see CobaltRaqInstall, and try the TWikiBetaRelease, as this has a fix that may help. To see if you need the beta, download the latest testenv from CVSget:bin/testenv and try the 'PATH_INFO' test included on the page it generates. This might help convince your system administrator that something is not working.
