Question

I've installed TWiki-4.2.1 through the windows installer.

I'm confused about what's wrong with my install and not sure I have a good baseline. I have an intranet with win2k servers and xp workstations. I have no errors in the config file, and I can go to localhost on the server, or to the fully qualified network path from another machine and I get the "it works" page.

What I'm having trouble with is getting to the TWiki directories and files shared when I browse to the TWiki page on my server, over the network. Firefox is also stripping the only image I have hosted, and IE is not?

Do you all usually use C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\index.html as your main index page and point that page to the TWiki pages?

Environment

TWiki version: unspecified
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Win2k
Web server: Apache Server 2.2.8
Perl version: ActivePerl 5.8.8 Build 820
Client OS: XP
Web Browser: IE 6 or Firefox 2.x
Categories: Installation, Htaccess

using the TWikiInstaller, you should have a set of icons in Program Files | TWiki

iirc http://localhost/twiki/bin/view should do the trick.
