Question

Dear Fellow Twiki Travellers,

First of all may I state my enthusiasm and delight with being priviliged to use Twiki..and it is fun!

My question is, How do I get the Login (Twiki Name and Password) to appear when I want to change something in our Twiki web. At the moment anyone can enter and change anything without getting a prompt for Twiki name and password.

Thanks and Bye Andrew

Answer

Always nice to have a happy customer smile ... The popup is triggered by the twiki/bin/.htaccess file - have a look at this section of the installation guide and check it is in the right place. Also, check the Apache docs, and the httpd.conf file, to ensure that you are allowed to override the Apache setup with a .htaccess file.
