Installed Plugins

Plugins are mainly user-contributed add-ons that enhance and extend TWiki features and capabilities. A limited number of plugins are included in the core TWiki distribution - and any of those can be removed - while the rest are optional, available from TWiki:Plugins.PluginPackage.

Here is a list of the plugins currently installed and enabled on this TWiki site:

• SpreadSheetPlugin (any TWiki, 10197): Add spreadsheet calculation like "$SUM( $ABOVE() )" to TWiki tables and other topic text
• CommentPlugin (TWiki-4, $Rev: 14736 (05 Sep 2007) $): Allows users to quickly post comments to a page without an edit/preview/save cycle
• BlackListPlugin (any TWiki, 13186): Utility to keep malicious users away from a public TWiki site
• ChartPlugin (1.401): Create PNG or GIF charts to visualize TWiki tables
• EditTablePlugin (any TWiki, 11646): Edit TWiki tables using edit fields, date pickers and drop down boxes
• GaugePlugin (1.003): Build dashboards that contain graphical images of gauges defined with %GAUGE{}% variables.
• InterwikiPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 11935$): Link ExternalSite:Page text to external sites based on aliases defined in a rules topic
• LocalCityTimePlugin (1.011): Shows the local time of a city embedded in a TWiki topic.
• PerlDocPlugin (1.001): Extract the Perl documentation (POD) from a Perl module and display it in a topic.
• PreferencesPlugin (Dakar, 9839): Allows editing of preferences using fields predefined in a form
• RenderListPlugin (any TWiki, 1.034): Render bullet lists in a variety of formats
• SlideShowPlugin (Any TWiki, $Rev: 12013$): Create web based presentations based on topics with headings.
• SmiliesPlugin (Dakar, 8154): Render smilies as icons, like for  :-) or for = :eek:=
• TWikiDrawPlugin (Dakar, 8154): Java Applet based drawing editor
• TWikiOrgPlugin (1.001): TWiki.org specific extensions
• TablePlugin (1.020, 12339): Control attributes of tables and sorting of table columns
• TagMePlugin (Any TWiki, 1.032): Tag wiki content collectively to find content by keywords
• TopicCreatePlugin (1.000): Automatically create a set of topics and attachments at topic save time
• TwistyPlugin (1.2.0, $Rev: 12154$): Twisty section JavaScript library to open/close content dynamically
• VarCachePlugin (Dakar, 8154): Cache TWiki variables in selected topics for faster page rendering
• WysiwygPlugin (Dakar, 12422): Translator framework for Wysiwyg editors

Administrators can enable and disable plugins using configure.
