Many of us are misinformed when it comes to knowing the truth about our government leaders as well as the legal system. The Internet has a lot of information regarding politicians and legislation .

The laws are changing all the time, whether it is pertaining to our civil rights, or rights as parents, or medical insurance, etc. Some laws are county regulated, such as drug driving charges, some are state regulated such as medical insurance laws and some are on the federal level that applies to all the states. Some laws that are on the books are humorous because they really do not apply at all or not enforced.

Perhaps it is time to vote and you do not know anything more than the commercials on television, which seem to more and more put the emphasis on mud-slinging than dealing with actual political issues that need to be addressed. Earlier, I gave you some e-mail addresses on how to contact your politicians. In order to do a decent job and be heard, you should also do some research on the background of the issue you want to address as well as how the politician views the same issue. This way, you can probably sound more intelligent as well as maybe come up with some comments or suggestions that your government representative may find appealing.

Below are some links to help you get started in your politicians and legislation search.
