LILO parameters: See parameters? . At boot up, when the LILO prompt is presented (LILO: -- is it presented every time??), you can choose the image to be booted and add other parameters, like:

  • linux single (or 1)
  • root = /dev/hda2 (for example)
  • vga <something>
  • <something> RAM= <something.
