IBM's OS/2 is an operating system that at one time was going to be the Windows operating system. (It was being jointly developed by IBM and Microsoft.)

Some people consider it a very good operating system, and, as the advertising slogan once went "a better Windows than Windows" (or something like that).

A port of wxWindows is being developed for OS/2. Found some resources that look useful so I thought I'd collect a few.

  • (rhk) Disk Partitions, OS/2, & Multiboot FAQ; 2002/07/08; Felix Miata -- looks good on it's own, plus it has links to some promising sounding sites for information on partitioning and so forth.
