Just updating to give me a sense of accomplishment — see also ComputerThingsToAccomplish for a more up-to-date list, focusing mainly on computers.
Non computer related
All done, roof finished sometime around (late) November, 2002, and there is a WikiLearn page describing some of my experiences — see ReplacingARoof and RoofingResources.
- Replace roof
- Order shingles and plywood
- Buy tarpaper, nails, flashing, pipe flashing, roof cement (may have enough), staple gun, staples, hose fittings
- Test compressor and nail gun
- Oops, just remembered, although I replaced the spark plugs and wires, I couldn't find a wrench to reach the distributor adjustment bolt, so I had Strauss adjust the timing when they did the inspection. done, September 2002 Adjust timing on Oldsmobile
- done, September 2002 Get Oldsmobile inspected
- done, before Christmas 2002? Work on road race platform with Alex (after roof) (buy plywood), make final design of trestles

As I recently got my email server working (on System8) and have taken another step in my transition from Windows to Linux:
- started Start using Nedit for my default editor, especially in TWiki, maybe in kmail as well
- done, but switched to konqueror Consider upgrading Mozilla from 0.9.8 to a version that does not have the cursor problems 0.9.8 has
- done Get the email server for the church working
- there is an old version of TWiki set up there, haven't progressed beyond that Set up the latest version of TWiki on that server, then on my server, then progress towards the setup of WikiLearn on Sourceforge
