Two new releases of TWiki have come out since the 20010315 beta, and it makes sense at this time to base WikiLearn on the latest version.

In a sense, there are two or more latest versions:

  • The "official" 20011201 release
  • The version currently in use on twiki.org (which differs from the official release because PeterThoeny occasionally makes modifications or enables plugins on the site.
  • Plugins exist and more are being created -- a latest version could consist of the 20011201 release plus any plugins I'd choose to install.

For my own learning experience, I would think about installing the 20011201 release and later (when I saw the need for them), I'd install selected plugins or patches.

For expediency's sake, I may take the other approach (assuming I still have permissions to do so) of copying the files at twiki.org, then revising the permissions (probably by submitting a support request to SourceForge), deleting most of TWiki.org's content (except the "standard" pages), and making other changes as required.

The decision may depend on who offers to help me (if anybody) and what they prefer.
