HI guys, quick question is there a confluence to twiki convertor? or import tool the imageplugin caches old images and I can't get it to refresh when I change the image. the image is not uploaded, it is refered to from another location. How do I force a refresh? microm: i am not familiar with this plugin the cache issue might be on the browser (worth checking) if the updated image has the same url there is a good chance the the browser is delivering the cached image no, I realoaded, quitted the browser, changed browser, cleared the cache, etc. it is not the browser. Plus I just found "?refresh=on" on this page:http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/ImagePlugin and this is unfortunate as each page hit will cause a refresh. But will it cause the cache to grow on the file system at each refresh is the bigger question. microm: still there? yes i found a site that has the imageplugin installed it looks like the image links remain the same can I see? for example, an image resized to 70px width has this name: _70___Westminstpalace.jpg https://hep.ph.liv.ac.uk/twiki/bin/view/Sandbox/ImagePluginTest that means, if you update Westminstpalace.jpg you will still get the same image url _70___Westminstpalace.jpg for the 70px version hence the browser is likely to cache that look at the raw html in your browser to study the source I'm in ctrl-u right now... yes, in this example, the image reloads after the browser cache is cleared. I will need to examine the raw html on my intranet twiki to figure it out. I have to go now. Thanks. I will try to look at this problem again as I have a couple users complaining about it (and they are power users who know how to clear their cache and force reloads). It must be something we are doing differently than everyone else.
