WhoWhatWhen
Khaytsuspeterthoeny: Thank you for the InterTwiki hint the other day, works great, and big thumbs up from one of the managers in our department that answers "Put it in the Twiki" or "It's in the Twiki" for nearly every question. [01:47]
peterthoenynice!
i find the interwikiplugin very useful
link to isbn numbers, bug numbers etc
do you have a big twiki deployment?
[01:47]
KhaytsusDefinately, I'll remember that one. Someone told me "It can't be that easy" and I said sure, put Extraview:12345 and bam, bug page.
Actually yes, I couldn't really estimate how large or how many people, but our whole R&D department uses it for meeting notes, technical notes, document respository, test strategy, team information, and the naughty ones even use it for some test status.
We have another tool we use for status, so we're not supposed to use the TWiki for that :)
We actually have like 4... Not really sure why, two of them are for smaller departments, but the other two are quite large.
I was a test team lead back in 2006 and set one up for my team to document findings, tricks, pitfalls etc when we were testing Vista before it was released with our drivers. Mine is R/O now, everyone uses the big ones ran by IT now.

peterthoenyyes, it is better to use a central twiki
users need to register once only, and it is easy to cross-link across webs to related content
please consider writing a twiki success story
see http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Main/TWikiSuccessStories
more exposure means more developers, and thus a better product

...... (idle for 27mn)
KhaytsusI'm mainly just a user, I don't maintain, own, or control any of the TWikis at work anymore. But I could put it in the perspective above I guess, how the rest of my organization uses it. [02:32]
peterthoenythat would be great!
basically how you use it, and what kind of problem it solved before you used twiki
did you or other employees create twikiforms based apps?
they can help automate workflows
