[20:31] *** rfxr has joined #twiki [20:35] peterthoeny: Hey! [20:36] do you use twiki? [20:36] Erm.. I was struggling with the database plugin, but since I left work I honestly cannot remember the specifics! [20:37] Yes, or rather its used at work. [20:38] what twiki version are you at? [20:39] 5.0.1 [20:40] Sorry for any typos.. On my phone. :-/ [20:40] we have not yet tested the DatabasePlugin and the dbi query plugin for twiki-5.0 [20:41] i do not expect any issues with twiki-5.0 with these plugin becuase they mainly interact with external things [20:41] i once installed the databaseplugin for a client [20:41] the tricky part was to get the db drivers installed and configured properly [20:41] e.g. outside twiki [20:46] hrm [20:46] err... afk until tomorrow, 'fraid [20:53] *** _arjen_ has quit IRC (Quit: Leaving) [21:15] *** rk4n3 has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 245 seconds) [22:05] *** sae_ has joined #twiki [22:06] Hi! How can I define an anchor in a table? [22:10] use html [22:10] such as: [22:11] | ... | .... | .... | [22:11] Thanks Peter! [22:11] then you can link to it using #FooBar [22:11] oops, bug in example [22:11] correct one: [22:12] | ... | .... | .... | [22:12] ok :) - thanks again! Will try that right away [22:29] Works like charme! :) thanks again [22:30] *** rk4n3 has joined #twiki [22:40] sae_: your welcome [22:40] how big is your twiki deployment? [22:44] I think it is big - I work for a company with more than 60K employees [22:46] if it can be more exact by looking something up in the twiki, please let me know I will try to find out [23:13] *** sae_ has quit IRC (Quit: Verlassend) [23:24] ... Okay, that's bigger than the wiki I'm working with! [23:27] I'll pop by with the specific problem tomorrow.. iirc it's to do with any page in /bin/view/ simply returning a message suggesting the system is failling to authenticate against the database. Which makes no sense to me since the DB is fine, that machine is fine connecting to it and *afaik* I've set it up correctly in /lib/Local[something] [23:27] (Can't remember off the top of my head). [23:28] On another note: peterthoeny - Pleasure to actually see someone who is properly involved with the system in question on IRC! :D [23:29] :-) [23:29] your error could be a permission issue [23:30] user requesting db access has not enough prevs [23:32] Got everything 'cept privileges to grant I believe [23:32] (Damn, SSH into work would really help right now!) [23:34] I'll have to get back to you tomorrow with this one. Probably something stupid on my part, but not having it in front of me really doesn't help! [23:34] peterthoeny: Are you coming to FOSDEM this year? [23:35] just looked it up, it is in brussels [23:35] i don;t think so [23:35] Aye. [23:36] although i'd love to join [23:36] Shame, it's a fantastic event. [23:36] Possibly be a good opportunity to push TWiki too
