WhoWhatWhen
PeterThoenymohanphy: the ldapcontrib can be configured to expose the ldap groups as twiki groups
not sure if that works in the latest version, earlier version were buggy on groups feature
for example, if you have a eng_group in ldap, then you can use that group in twiki using that name
for example:
* Set ALLOWWEBVIEW = eng_group
this is for web level in WebPreferences
for page level, use:
* Set ALLOWTOPICVIEW = eng_group

Yay! It works! :-D [06:00]

But something is curious: The Word "Fachhandel" (without ") should be a good WikiWord but the TopicCreator says it isn't a good WikiWord. [06:23]
PeterThoenyit's not, a wikiword has upper, lower, upper-case pattern
if your write FachHandel it works as a wikiword
congrats on your twiki!
this is just the start, twiki has a lot of power
you can build forms based apps
basically web apps that run in twiki
for later, but just fyi
see for example http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Blog/BlogEntry201009x1
[06:28]
DrRetroAlgright i see :-D Yepp - My CEO wants a company-based wiki for communication and Teamwork - i've built something like that before but every search for this topic pointed to the TWiki. Thanks for your StartingHelp :-D

DrRetroIn the Plugin Installation Manual ( http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/CalendarPlugin#Plugin_Installation_Instructions ) is written:
For an automated installation, run the configure script and follow "Find More Extensions" in the in the Extensions section. But when i open the configure Plugin there's no section "extensions"
Where can i find that?

PeterThoenyDrRetro: run the configure script
replace /view/.... with /configure in your browser bar
in configure you find the "extensions" section, and in there a "find more extensions" link

DrRetroPeterThoeny: I did that but the vm-version doesn't support that. [17:46]
..... (idle for 23mn)
PeterThoenywhat do you error do you get? [18:09]
DrRetroPeterThoeny: there was no error or something else - even no extensions-section. i installed the plugin manually via the terminal and then it works perfect :-)
PeterThoeny: btw: Great work this Wiki - a little bit complicated to a totally newbie but when you realize how it works its really cool! :-D
[18:14]
PeterThoenythanks! the thumbs up goes to the twiki community :-) [18:16]
DrRetroPeterThoeny: are you free for a short query? [18:24]
PeterThoenyquick yes, i have to leave in 5 min
btw, i verified, configure works as expected
on the vm
you need to save the settings first
then run configure again
[18:25]
DrRetroI will try it tomorrow again - [18:27]
PeterThoenyafter that you see all the headings, including extensions [18:27]
