1. Introduce new TWiki Governance

• Desired outcome: Get an understanding how the community operates
• See IntroducingTWikiGovernance and TWikiGovernanceProposal1 (posted before the meeting)

• Note that the governance and mission statement updates are proposals and that feedback is needed and encouraged.
• The marketing meeting of next Monday 14 July 2008 will be a TWiki Governance meeting and will be on a conference bridge which Kenneth will arrange.

2. Review Urgent Bugs with 4.2.1 scope

• Desired outcome: Identify owners for urgent bugs; decide on release date of 4.2.1
• See TWikibug:ReleaseBlocker, List of changes waiting for release

• Bugs:Item5118 and Bugs:Item4824 - Michael and Kenneth to catch Crawford on IRC early night and discuss.
• Bugs:Item5382 - Sopan will look at it
• Bugs:Item5704 - Current fix OK for 4.2.1. Downgrade to normal for 5.0 user code rewrite.
• Bugs:Item5451 - Michael will look at.

3. Feature requests for Georgetown Release

• Desired outcome: Discuss and decide on pending feature request that need attention

Discussing Peter's new TWikiGovernanceProposal1 proposal on this release meeting today is too close in time. We don't have time to read and understand this proposal that quickly. The release meeting is starting in a few minutes and the proposal has just been uploaded to TWiki.org. Please, let's drop point 1 from this meeting and agree that we will have a wiki-style discussion first.

I would keep the point on the agenda but with two purposes only.

• A change to Q&A Peter
• Agree on a set of follow up meetings where we can discuss the proposal. I would like to see 2-3 meetings using voice call and at different times to allow people from different time zones to be there

Naturally the proposal will also be discussed on Codev. But let us try and plan some meetings where we can discuss already tonight.
