1. Feature Requests for Kampala Release

  • Expose AllAuthUsersGroup list with new %ALLAUTHUSERS% variable

• Attachment issue with I18N characters in file name: By default I18N characters are removed from attachment file names. If a file name consists only of I18N characters, only the extension is left, such as .jpg.
  • Workaround fix: Use _ as file name
  • Longer term it is better to fully support I18N chars in attachment names, possibly with new configure flag {I18N}{EnableAttachments}

4. Miscellaneous

• Peter met a founder of a Silicon Valley startup called Nextinit. They have an early version of mobile app to get & discuss feedback & ideas from employees, https://www.nextinit.com/login.jsp
  • Interesting point: They use gamification to get more users involved. For example, use virtual money you can invest in ideas. Ideas that have most investments are more important
