TextFormattingRules: The < and > for commenting could be within the main section, rather than buried at the end. Also, I would suggest specifically noting that having embedded twiki formatting within the comment will stop the comment.

e.g.,

   <newbies or people in a hurry don't expect *this* to show up>

as:

this* to show up>
