Bug: The SourceForge image load is slow
TWiki.org is now loading an image from
SourceForge on every page (including Edit and Preview), via a PHP script which is currently very slow (taking about 20 seconds at present, although TWiki.org itself is fine).
Do we really need this on every page, or can we just have it on the TWiki.org home page, as for most Sourceforge projects?
If it does need to be on every page, perhaps it could be a static copy hosted on TWiki.org rather than a dynamic URL, with the dynamic URL used on the home page.

Follow up
This was probably a temporary problem at SF. Now speed seems to be back to normal. SF tracks traffic with the logo accesses and they ask to display the logo on every page. See access stats at
