Feature Proposal: "Read-only" alternative to Edit

Motivation

Would allow convenient, quick read access for seeing "how things are done" without requiring writability

Description

I often have a template I want to use, be it a full page or a snippet of code from a page that does something I want to do. So I go to that page, click Edit, select, Copy, Cancel, then go to my new page, Edit, annd paste.

I would prefer to select "View Wiki Source" rather than Edit. I dont want to need write access (if I have read access). I onl;y want to view the page, not change it. I don't want to risk changing something. A browser "View Source" shows me HTML, not Wiki format.

I want the moral equivalent of View Source showing Wiki source.

Discussion:

Hm. Isn't this done by adding ?raw=on to the topicname in the view-URL? See for example this

.. or even the 'Raw Text" item on the bottom menu bar.

And isn't really what you want a CloneTopicLinkUnderMore / BetterMore?
