TWiki Usage
I am using TWiki 4.2.0 build 16278 with Apache 2.2.9 on Windows Server 2003 SP2 (live) and Windows XP Pro SP2 (test) with the mod_auth_sspi 1.0.4 (for Windows domain user auth - very useful) module. I use
ActivePerl-5.8.8.822 for the Perl distribution.
Aside from the default plugins I also have the
VarCachePlugin (works), the
FileUploadPlugin (errors on submit so I can't use it at the moment) and the
FormPlugin (CSS problems so I dont use it at the moment).
The
DatabasePlugin is great and I make good use of it along with
TemplateTopics and
TWikiForms all combined. Actually I use a
TWikiForm which references a topic for the values of its select box. That topic is populated by a database query using the
DatabasePlugin. Once the value of the select box is chosen and then the topic saved by the user, the select box's form variable is used within the topic to which the form is attached. It is used within an SQL query to populate another table.
I also use the
EditTablePlugin and regex querys to populate select boxes. Very nice.
I am attempting to setup TWiki for use as a knowledgebase to be used by our 6 man team in order to manage the documentation and supporting information regarding our employer's applications.
