Question

Hi,

If I'm in a template, I can do something like:

%IF{ "defined ALLOWWEBVIEW and $ ALLOWWEBVIEW ='' ...

however if instead I want to check to see if the current topic I'm on has ALLOWTOPICVIEW defined, the same syntax doesn't work. I figured out how to expand the variable by using %ALLOWTOPICVIEW%, but that doesn't help with the initial check I need to do.

Is there a way for me to do the same check with topic level variables?
