Question

I was wondering if there is a changed files package to upgrade from 4.0.x to 4.1? Then its a simple jump to 4.1.2.

I noticed on all the 4.1 release pages, they all say:

"TWiki-4.1.0 is a minor release without dramatic changes since 4.0.0"

Did I miss something? I searched through the support and various webs with no result. The current upgrade procedures are no small effort (they are very similar to the upgrade instructions to go from 3.x to 4.x) and if its really such a minor update, could the changed files be provided?

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x00x04
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: rhl 4
Web server: apache
Perl version: 5.8
Client OS: Mac 1.3
Web Browser: Firefox

no, looks to me like you did not miss anything. Kenneth, who did both the builds and the upgrade guides at the time indicates that automated upgrade by doing changed files has too many places where it could go wrong. And so they were not built.

If you'd like to do it though, its pretty easy to download both full releases and do a set of diffs to see what's changed.

(yes, I followed the docco myself)
