Question

This should really be a bug report, but I don't seem to be able to login into the bug report web

So the question is in two parts.

• what am I doing wrong when trying to submit a bug report?
• can someone file a bug report/look at the problem?

When I upgraded from 4.0.2 to 4.0.4 plus hotfix 3 some users stopped being able to use EditTable to edit tables. I eventually found:

• the users with problems only had edit access rights enabled via an ALLOWTOPICCHANGE in the topic
• the problem is introduced by Hotfix 3 (and not fixed in Hotfix 4).

The problem appears only to affect EditTable. The user has the expected rights to edit the page normally.

Removing the hotfix 3 updates restores functionality to normal

Mark, I've just synced the user and passwords from twiki.org to the bug tracking and development server, so you should now be able to create and edit bugs there.

Sorry, I need to find time to finish the OpenIDPlugin I started to allow our other servers to do a single-signon via the twiki.org user system.

wrt your bug - I hope Kenneth has a better overview of what is in hotfix 3 :/

The most obvious candidate from hotfix 3 that could cause this is Bugs:Item2684. There is also a Bugs:Item2829 that involves Edit Table but I doubt it is this one that does it.

I have not myself seen this problem. But I will try and test a little more. The main fix was made by SteffenPoulsen.
