Question

Hello,

as "web master" email we have an email that contain & (ampersand) like me&mycolleagues@mycorp.com I realized that TWiki doesn't follow the RFC2822 specification.

To workaround the problem I url encoded the email address as me%26mycolleagues@mycorp.com and it works as expected, but I guess it should accept any of the character mentioned in the RFC, like

! $ & * - = ^ ` | ~ # % ' + / ? _ { }

What do you think? Would it be possible to fix this also in an older TWiki release, like 4.1.2?

Thanks a lot
