Question

I have an odd quirk when using Firefox, the user registration page is [almost] impossibly slow. After entering each field, just as the cursor moves to the next field, Firefox hangs (and eats lots of processor time). This is using Firefox 1.07 on a Solaris system, it eats so much processor time that my X clock freezes. The registration process does eventually work OK. I tried the same from a PC with IE (i.e. the same TWiki) and it was OK so it looks like it's a Firefox issue. I'll try it using Firefox on my Linux box this evening.

This is using the 2005-11-06 Dakar release on apache 2.0.52.

If it's of interest Firefox 1.5 release candidate on Linux doesn't suffer from this problem.
