Question

Please Help!!! I designed a new TWikiSite which was published by IT staff at my college today at http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/bin/view/Main/WebHome (Yes, I do know it's not WikiCulture to block access to editing everything but that'll change with time...)

Anyways, for some reason when the files were transferred onto the college server, the respective headers, search/jump boxes and WYSIWYG tab on every web and page disappeared - this seems to be the only major problem - could somebody please take a look and suggest a fix...

Thanks, PipMillington

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

I used an HTTP trace tool, and your first page shows 404 errors (page not found) for all of these URLs:

   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/Main/WebHome/pravbannerresized7.PNG
   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/TWiki/BehaviourContrib/behaviour.compressed.js
   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiJavascripts/twikiCSS.js
   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiJavascripts/twikiEvent.js
   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiJavascripts/twikiForm.js
   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiJavascripts/twikiHTML.js
   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiJavascripts/twikilib.js
   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiJavascripts/twikiStyles.js
   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiJavascripts/twikiWindow.js
   * http://jcr.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk/twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiTemplates/base.css

Something went awry on your publishing step. It could be several things: that content was missed; content was put in the wrong place; the web server doesn't have read access to the content.
