Question
This seems like it would be basic but I can't find it. I'm using the Pattern skin and want to change the light brownish/yellow background/gradient at the top of the page. It's the background color behind the edit tabs, breadcrumb, and similar stuff.
I'm able to change all the other colors I want by editing colors.css but can't find the element that affects that area. According to
PatternSkinCss it's the ".patternTop" element. Is that it? If so, where is it? I can't find it in colors.css.
Obviously, my geek powers are very weak. All I can do is change color numbers in a CSS file. If someone could tell me exactly where to find the element so I could change its color, I'd be very happy.

Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
Don't you like my color
That color is cause by a background image. It is in
colors.css, right below
IMAGES:
#patternOuter {
/* gradient yellow of left bar and main */
background-image:url(gradient_yellow.gif);
background-repeat:repeat-x;
}
If you haven't, please check
PatternSkinCssCookbook if you want a long-term (upgrade proof) solution. Just hacking
colors.css for now to see the effect is ok of course.
