Question
I have been attempting to figure out how to use NTLM for the past few days. I can get the basic authentication to work but when I make the changes that I have found on the web I can't get things to work. I have built the unauthorized mod_ntlm2 for apache2. I followed the instructions in the Plone web site for getting it to work and in that test environment it seems to work fine. I then try to make changes to the twiki.conf and the configure to get NTLM to work with twiki and I get a message box asking for a username and password. I believe that I have looked at all the information on the twiki.org site and have not been able to figure out what I am missing. I followed the instructions for the
SolarisNTLM setup and that gives me the same results. THe
SolarisNTLM documentation does give examples of what stays in the httpd.conf file and what has to be removed. I am looking for information about what files need to be modified. I am confused about the need for .htaccess. If someone has a working NTLM on apache2 and
RedHat could you provide your twiki.conf file and .htaccess (if needed) and the configure information. I appreciate any help provided.
