Question
I really can't stand all the standard Twiki banners and other noise at the top and bottom of the pages. I don't mind attributing Twiki on the pages, but on any reasonable screen the twiki boilerplate is using 1/3 of the screen area. How can I turn this stuff off? If I edit the page I don't get to edit the boilerplate.
Thanks for any help.

Answer
As is stated in the documentation (
TWikiTemplates ) :
TWiki uses HTML template files for all actions like topic view, edit, preview and so on. This allows you to change the look and feel of all pages by editing just some template files.
The template files are in the
twiki/templates directory. As an example,
twiki/templates/view.tmpl is the template file for the
twiki/bin/view script. Templates can be overloaded per web.

In addition you could create a skin that overloads the default template and that can be activated for the whole site, per web, per user and per topic. Click on the "Printable" link below to see how it works. See docs in
TWikiSkins
