Question

Hi, I was requested to make a change to our twiki to change the default behaviour of the WebLeftBar search, and also for the advanced search.

Basically, the change was to make searches, by default, search all webs (i.e. have the box checked by default in advanced search, and add a param web=on for the quick search).

I did this manually, but I was wondering if there was a twiki variable I could set that would make this change for me?

(in the end, I added a checkbox to the quick search to allow the users to change from one mode to the other, so a variable probably wouldn't have done the job, but I'm still curious).

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x00x00
TWiki plugins: n/a (afaik)
Server OS: RedHat 7.0, kernal 2.2.16-22
Web server: Apache
Perl version: 5.8.5
Client OS: WinXP
Web Browser: FF
Categories: Search
