Question

Hi,

I have a TWiki setup with multiple webs, and I'm trying to add forms to each of them to make it easier to classify information. I've run into a small problem, however. I would like to use the same form in each web, but I don't want to have to add a form to every web and have to update this form every time something changes. I tried creating a single form in the Main web and then placing MyForm in the WebPreferences topic of all the other webs but this didn't work. I also tried making MyForm an includable topic, with all the form information in the main web, and then including the MyForm topic in MyForm topics within each web, but this didn't work either. Is there any way to have a single form that can be used in multiple webs?

Thanks.

Answer

This is currently not possible in TWiki.

As a workaround you could create symbolic links to make a form definition topic available in multiple webs.
