Question
I am attempting to install TWiki on
WinXP Pro using the
IndigoPerlCookbook. Everything was going fine until I got to step 11 installing the modules.
The following is the error that I receive.
E:\TWiki\bin>ipm install Algorithm::Diff
Installing Algorithm::Diff
Module Algorithm::Diff not found
DONE
E:\TWiki\bin>
Yes I am behind a Proxy server, and I followed the instructions for adding the proxy HTTP_PROXY to the system variables.
There is a good pause after it echoes back with “Installing Algorithm::Diff” before the error shows up
The other modules behave the same way
I guess I have a couple questions. The obvious is how do I fix this. The other is what is going on when I enter the “ipm install”, where is it getting the information from and where is it placing it.
Thank you for any pointers that you can give me.

I am stuck at the same step too. However I get a different error. It does a mkdir W:\: and then complains no such file or directory. Here is my error

It appears to me to be an
IndigoPerl / Apache problem. I have noticed that the Apache2 service is not started and when I try to start it up it fails. I uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck at this point.

Yes, sorry, please talk to the Indigo Perl people and update the
IndigoPerlCookbook when you work it out.

You might want to try
TWikiVMDebianStable, which is another way of installing on Windows - quite a large download but the installation is very straightforward, and modules are easy to install on top of this.
