Question

Hi,

I recently migrated my Twiki from one server to another. (i simply copied my twiki directory containing everything) My configure works and my loginscreen appears when i try to enter the twiki. However the Twiki users and password i made on the old server (and worked there) don't work on the new server..

How can i make this work? Help!

make sure that you copied the .htpasswd into the new TWiki.

And that the permissions are right of files and directories, and that .htaccess points to the right .htpasswd.

it appears that the .htaccess and .htpasswd dont exist. Even in the old installation the files are missing.... :-/ what should i do?

Ha i solved it! i searched for .htpasswd in the wrong directory (didn't include www where it was located) Thanx guys for your help! i really appreciate it!
