Question
- TWiki version: TWiki20011201
- Perl version: 5.00503
- Web server & version: Apache
- Server OS: Sun Solaris 8
- Web browser & version: -
- Client OS: -
I've just installed Calendar Plugin (and all prerequisites for Perl) and using the example from Calendar Plugin
I get the two calendars but without any entries. The bulleted event list appears as a bullet list and the calendar beneath is empty.
I tried writing everything in one topic. Then I tried the event list in a separate topic and setting topic appropriately but it didn't help. I installed Twiki last week so I'm not an old hare and probably missed something very simple!

Answer
Mot sure what causes this. FYI, Plugin fail silently with
TWikiRelease01Dec2001, for example if a required Perl module is not found. You might experience this problem. Make sure that you have all modules required by the
CalendarPlugin installed. The latest
TWikiBetaRelease fixes that, e.g. you get the error messages in the browser. You could request the latest Beta or do some more
TWikiDebugging before upgrading.

I have this problem too. I can work around it by specifying the topic, but the plugin doesn't assume the current topic if one isn't specified. Here are my versions:
- CalendarPlugin: 1.013
- TWiki: Feb '03
- perl: 5.8
- HTML::CalendarMonthSimple 1.24
- Date::Calc 5.3

Take a look at
InstalledPlugins - some error messages are shown there.
