SID-00008: NatSkin and WYSIWYG editor

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.2.4 Perl version: 5.8
Category: CategorySkin Server OS: Linux Last update: 17 years ago

I just installed NatSkin. New editor is nice but would like wysiwyg. Tried Set USEWYSIWYG = on but this did not work. How can I get back to wysiwyg while still enjoying the new NatSkin?

Discussion and Answer

I am not familiar with the NatSkin. Does WYSIWYG work if you temporarily use the PatternSkin?

Also, the WYSIWYG editor turns itself off if it considers content too complex to handle. You have control over what content is considered safe to edit with the WYSIWYG editor. See details in TinyMCEPlugin.

Yes, wysiwyg works great when using pattern skin. When I switch to nat, two issues, no wysiwyg and the search box in the upper right, when used, causes a hard apache error. I don't have access to the error.log frown

I decided to give up, went back to the twikinet skin, all is well.
