SID-00019: Find more extensions behind authenticated proxy

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.2.3 Perl version: Perl 5.10
Category: CategoryMissingFunctionality Server OS: Fedora 10 Last update: 16 years ago

I have already set the {PROXY}{HOST} and {PROXY}{PORT} using the configure. But there is no PROXY password and no PROXY username. Conclusion it does not perform the authentication in the proxy.

How can we solve this problem?

Discussion and Answer

TWiki currently does not support authenticated proxy. This would be a useful enhancement, and a perfect fit for the TWikiMission and TWikiCharter.

Workaround: Download the zip file manually, and install on the shell level. Plugins have installation instructions.
