SID-00065: Show web left sidebar

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.1.1 Perl version:
Category: Server OS: Last update: 16 years ago

Hi, I read the entire HowToEditSidebarVariables thread, but I'm still unsure:

I inherited a TWiki with a main web + subwebs listed in the left sidebar. When I make a new subweb, it doesn't appear in the left sidebar.

Under WebPreferences, I have set NOSEARCHALL=off. I also just edited the main web's left bar, but then the subweb is only visible from the main web.

Thanks!

Discussion and Answer

Empty out the value of the NOSEARCHALL bullet, as in:

  • NOSEARCHALL =

Also, if you lock down the web with a view access restriction, only logged in users who are in the group will see the web listed in the sidebar.
