SID-00470: Change the Starting Page

Status: Unanswered Unanswered TWiki version: 4.3.1 Perl version:
Category: CategoryAccessControl Server OS: Apache from Debian Stable 4.0.4 release Last update: 16 years ago

I installed the 4.0.4 Debian Stable Version of TWiki with the Virtual Machine and Apache and successfully upgraded to 4.3.1

Since my users are non-native English speakers and easyly scared by too much information, I would like to define a web, other than Main, as the landing page when calling localhost (page runs only in a local network).

I tried changing Directoryindex in the apache2.conf (httpd.conf) to /twiki/bin/view/myweb. However, when localhost is called it redirects to /wiki/bin/view. The redirect only works, when calling localhost/twiki, which nobody will do...

As you probably figured out, I am not an Apache or Linux expert. Your help is greatly apprechiated.
