Hello,
I just recognized that the formated search parameter $formfield(name, 30, ...) to shorten formfield data seems not to work. For example, I tried this search:
%SEARCH{"name ~ '*TestTopic*'" type="query" nonoise="on" format="| $topic | $formfield(Name, 5, ...) | "}%
But the formfield data is not shortened, it is shown as normal. I tried to change the attribute name and the search showed a strange behaviour:
%SEARCH{"name ~ '*LaLaTopic*'" type="query" nonoise="on" format="| $topic | $formfield(Textfield, 5, ...) | "}%
--> does not work
%SEARCH{"name ~ '*LaLaTopic*'" type="query" nonoise="on" format="| $topic | $formfield(textareafield, 5, ...) | "}%
--> does not work
%SEARCH{"name ~ '*LaLaTopic*'" type="query" nonoise="on" format="| $topic | $formfield(a place to write things, 5, ...) | "}%
--> works
See also an example here:
LaLaTopic1
I also tried it with a regex search, but it didn't work as well.
Why does it only work when there are spaces in the attribute name!?
