Hi,
I am trying to implement Twiki for intranet usage of my company.
My Twiki running on Centos server,
My configuration:
UserInterfaceInternationalisation: Checked
Languages{tr}: Enabled * tr for Turkish
Locale::Maketext::Lexicon 0.49 installed I18N translations
UseLocale: Checked
Site Locale: tr_TR.iso88599
Site CharSet: ISO-8859-9
I have no problem with Turkish characters (üğışçö-ÜĞİŞÇÖ) inside body.
But i can't Create New Topic with Trukish characters, for example:
When i try to create a new topic Create a new topic link under Main :
Topic Name: TürkçeKonuşan
Topic will be named as "TRkEKonuAn"
But at my Sandbox i can create TürkçeKonuşan topic with
Create a new document by name: (Use a topic name in
WikiNotation)
_Create by Name _ button

Still waiting help.
Actually, the main problem behind unanswered questions is poor support of whole community. (I must say crowd, not community). The crowd (almost) only reads, only
PeterThoeny and maybe a few person helps.
Twiki is really well documented, but if you are new to Wiki culture and Twiki , finding answers to your questions at twiki web becomes a challenge. We are looking for answers with old methods, like a forum.

I am sorry, I am not that familiar with internationalization setup. I sent an e-mail to someone who might help. Thank you for your patience.

Closing this question after more than 30 days of inactivity. Feel free to reopen if needed. Consider engaging one of the
TWiki consultants if you need timely help. We invite you to
get involved with the community, it is more likely you get community support if you support the open source project!
