SID-00666: Automated Mail Notification for All Changes on Pages Changed by a User

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.3.2 Perl version: -
Category: CategoryEmail Server OS: - Last update: 16 years ago

Hello,

many TWiki pages - like this one - are used as bulletin board threads. Somebody asks a question and others reply. When a reply is posted it's desirable that the participants of the discussions get notified - by mail - as soon as possible.

Is there any option to get notified (immediately and automated) about all changes of all pages I've created or changed anytime before?

The WebNotify page isn't what I want, because I've to maintain it manually and the notifications are sent only once a day.

Discussion and Answer

It seems there is no such feature. But wouldn't it nice?

There are a number of Extensions:email. The ImmediateNotifyPlugin might do what you need.
