SID-00720: Cannot run configure

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.1.2 Perl version:
Category: CategoryInstallation Server OS: RedHat Last update: 15 years ago

When I click on the configure link or try to use teh direct link it asks me for a user name and password. Nothing I enter (my admin userid and password) or the userid and password setup during the install works.

How can I determine what the creds are or how can I change them?

Discussion and Answer

Check the Apache config, your twiki.conf probably requires an authenticated user. This is a chicken-and-agg problem until you have TWiki configured properly. Comment out the require valid-user in your Apache config file for TWiki until you are registered. Try also the ApacheConfigGenerator.
